The Lighting Lab
Trivalent’s Studio is one half office space and one half working lighting lab. We firmly believe in not specifying lighting products that we haven’t personally seen or worked with. This results in a lot of testing and thorough review of multiple products in our working lighting lab so that we can see if their performance lives up to the marketing hype from the manufacturers. We also pride ourselves in knowing all about the fixtures that we specify so that when a contractor has questions about installations or a facility manager wants to know how to maintain the products, we can confidently respond and provide direction as needed. We also work with architects and interior designers to host clients in the lighting lab and create mock-ups of complete offices, hospital rooms, museums or other vignettes showcasing both materials and finishes as well as the lighting fixtures being considered for a project.
